After reading a bunch of headlines on cnn.com I begin to wonder if many politicians, let alone the mass general population, of the United States even know what socialism is. I think many of them just assume that it is a bad thing, and then compare whatever they don't like to it.
do people know what socialism is? Short answer? No Longer answer? They don't care.
The people using this Obama is a socialism/marxist/communist thing are the people who ALSO thing that the wall street bailout is a good idea. They are only into the free market when the market is rigged to work for them, anything else is commie shit.
So I have to read this book called "Buddhism after patriarchy" for my buddhism class. And the book talks about applying Feminism to Buddhism.
Yeah.
If you want to demonstrate that women are stupid? Don't lock them in a kitchen, don't belittle them, don't deny them access to resources.
Send them to higher education. Give them degrees. Let them go out into the world and seek out their dreams.
And then read the fucking tripe they produce.
Because that way when you lock them back in the kitchen and tell them to bake a pie at least you'll have demonstrable proof that they're shit-hole stupid and won't have to rely on a simple rational assessment of their being.
