If one maps it out in single player and then looks at the map? Long straight line.<BR/><BR/>I thought the other acts did an excellent job of breaking things up. Act 2 has desert, sanctuary, deser. Act 1 is divided into different forests / swamps / and whatnot. Act 4 has river of flame to divide the two main areas. The dungeons that break up the monotony are relatively small and short (spider cave, and fetish dungeon). then back to more swamp jungle. The only real dungeon you enter before mephisto's was 3 zones long and it was ridiculously monotonous being nothing but stone squares surrounded by water connected by bridges (sewers).<BR/><BR/>Act IV only had 3 zones that I can remember all very different.
