I don't understand how this can be a "test" of anything, but it really pisses me off that she only spins clockwise unless I stare at it for about an hour and effort it into spinning counter-clockwise.
focus on her planted foot. you can make her easily spin both ways. i got it to look like she was rotating back and forth. really weirded me out. and its a hit here at work.
Great, I looked at it again and at first I saw clockwise again. And then the stupid thing started going the other way, and now I can't see clockwise. Arg!!!!
Are we completely convinced that it's not rigged to change direction subtly every so often? :-p
I wonder if i train my brain to switch back and forth at will if I will become an ancient....stargate reference for those of you who are caleb and andrew
It's spinning clockwise and I can't make it spin counter-clockwise.
ReplyDeleteI saw it clockwise at first...and then it suddenly shifted and was going counter-clockwise....freaked me the hell out man!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jay. No counter-clockwiseness could I detect. Apparently I am emotional and imaginative. I am shocked.
ReplyDeleteI seems that my condition is the opposite of Jay's.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I am pleased that we're calling it counter-clockwise rather than following that webpage
anti-clockwise sounds like some kind of fundamentalist movement.
ReplyDeleteClockwise is the rotation of the devil.
ReplyDeleteBut counter-clockwise is the direction of communism, liberalism, socialism, and gay.
ReplyDeleteThe shifting when you're only half looking at it is mind wrenching.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid it also means I'm schizophrenic.
Right brain! No! Left! No! RIGHT!
Wait! Yeah, Right!
She is totally spinning clockwise..
ReplyDeleteI can't get it to go any other direction...
I don't believe this test, because I am fundamentally a left brained person, and she is going clock wise for me.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand how this can be a "test" of anything, but it really pisses me off that she only spins clockwise unless I stare at it for about an hour and effort it into spinning counter-clockwise.
ReplyDeletestarted counterclockwise for me then shifted to clockwise.
ReplyDeletei cant get it to go back.
Stop looking directly at it, and it usually shifts, at least for me.
ReplyDeleteI like to think the fact that I can make it shift makes me a better person then all of you.
ReplyDeleteLike it's empircal evidence of something I've always known...
'cept for Jolly.. and Andrew, apperently... I can't prove my betterness there.

Make it your desktop background.
ReplyDeleteThen tile it.
i thinks my brain would esplodes

My goal was to try to see some going clockwise and some going counter-clockwise.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't do it.
I am a master of this game.
ReplyDeleteMiranda and I saw different directions at the same time.
I wonder if i train my brain to switch back and forth at will if I will become an ancient....stargate reference for those of you who are caleb and andrew
ReplyDeleteI think that would just make you bi.
ReplyDeleteThis test fails at being correct.
ReplyDeleteI'll agree.
