Unfortunately everything I need to do requires that other people do things as well.

there was a story on Cnet's The404 podcast yester. Sony Music, which holds the writes to Rick Astley's music, has been allowing clips from the video to be used in mash-ups without payment.
I guess someone in Sony's legal team has a sense of humor. And loses the mis-use of 80s music as much as i do.

How i forgot the = about a year ago i started using a program called program callde "TextExpander."
For the most part it acts like an audio create program. There are some words i spell wrong, and spell wrong the same way over and over. TextExpander sees my misspelled words, and fixes them.
I can also program it to insert bits of commoenly used code, like the html markup for links. i type {hreff} without the braces, and it inserts {a href=" "}{/a}.

I guess I'm mostly confused as to how someone can consistently spell a word incorrectly and upon this realization they would not learn the correct spelling.
The letters we use to create words do not themselves have an inherent property other than what we give them in our learning to utilize them. If one consistently spells rake "raek" but can correctly spell "take" then it is not the case that one's understanding of "e" and "k" is somehow flawed. Rather, one's understanding of the particular word, the combination of letters, is flawed.
If there is a system to the incorrect spellings, if certain words are always spelled in the same incorrect way (as you indicate) then the error is not random but rather systematized, consistent, predictable.
The biggest disappointment of the "future" is that 'bots aren't helpful housekeepers or dangerous maniacs or even wise-cracking movie goers, but rather they're fucking computer programs that advertise for piece of shit websites.
