Exchange 2007 Automatic Forwarding

Incase anyone might want to know. If you're using OWA trying to setup a rule so that when a new email arrives it is forwarded to another email address, but the rule never seems to work, seems to not work ever, or seems to never work at all. It might be the case that Exchange 2007 is not configured to allow automatic forwarding.

Now, I'll not complain about the difficulty I had finding the option to allow user configured forwarding. I'll simply say that it seemed, to me, to be buried. Here is where to dig:

Exchange Management Console > Organization Configuration > Hub Transport > Remote Domains > Default-Properties > Format of original message sent as attachment to journal report: > Allow automatic forward
