  1. Why, in the name of all that is decent and true, did none of you mention that Venture Bros. is back?
The Ghost of Lincoln! Special Agent Hauser! Bud Manstrong! And his MOTHER!

  2. how are people liking this comment method?

the pop-up like caleb suggested does not work with pop-up blockers.

  3. It doesn't prompt for a password when I select to post with google creds, so I have to scroll to the top to Sign In and then navigate back to the comment thread. So, I rate it with 1/2 a meh.

  4. This comment method sucks and it needs to go back to the old method now.

  5. That's better.

If the "show the post and all comments below it" system provided a login it would be ok. But the lack of a login next to the comment box is just fucking stupid.

  7. I'm signed in before I hit the blog, and.. it's working fine for me.. but.. it looks like we're back to normal.

shame. I kinda liked it. The Blogger template for background and whatnot was less appealing than our own background, etc.

  8. Odd.. that IS the episode I saw.. and had never seen before.

and yet.. it was the only episode on the Tivo w/out any episode info.

and.. like I said.. had never seen before. Hrmn. I am consternated.

  9. I only sign in to post things on the blog and then I sign out again. Because if I stay signed in to google then i'm signed in for when I search things like "Pedobear + lol + duck".

    And that shit ain't right.

  10. man.. the other format was a lot nicer, too.

I think half the time I read comments ON the posting page.. and.. the other way simply felt cleaner.

  11. J, they know it's you even if you aren't logged in.

Google has eyes and ears on just about every respectable (and most not respectable) sites on the internet. They track what you are looking at even when not using their service. Trust me, google knows.

  13. Stupid blogger not resolving links intuitively.

For example, click this link. This will show all of the data that Google knows about you, not from searches, but from adsense ads shown on that machine.

    They know everything.

  15. .. Why, yes, Google, I do like "Internet - Online Goodies"

Also? I liked New Commenting System.

  16. If one wipes one's ass with baby wipes one is, by definition, a baby.

    ReplyDelete
  17. .... or at least, guilty of improper application of tools?

See.. here's the thing.. by giving such a claim? You have given the wipe the agency to define babies...

and I can't pinpoint why with a good example to save my life... but... that there? Trap.

  18. Oh hey, Sony announced the PS3 slim. Finally my shrugging indifference has paid off.

Now to wait for a game to play on it.

  19. $300 is doable for a BR player on which i can play Final Fantasy.

    But still no backwards compatibility?

    Fuck you Sony

    ReplyDelete
  20. You can add b/c for about $100...

    ReplyDelete
  21. ...by stacking a PS2 slim on top.

Then you put the 32X adapter on that.

    ReplyDelete
  22. oh man! I just turned my x32 into a bong!

Why didnt i wait a little longer!

    ReplyDelete
  23. It'll be funny when you inadvertedly turn Hume the Dog into a bong.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Honestly? Ps2 slims are nigh-unkillable, and take up NO room..

Backwards compatability is becoming something of an albatross for launch systems, as they pirate away from resale on Virtual Marketplaces.

  25. question...

I know we all love sharing video...

but.. is anyone else having problems w/ the front page taking forever to load/scroll?

if'n it's just me, then I can swing in the wind, but.. it's kinda annoying.

  26. Zemeckis wants to make a Roger Rabbit sequel.

    possibly w/out Eddie Valiant.

    I must ruminate upon this.

  27. Sitting in a nearly empty theater, waiting for Rifftrax Live to start. I got here an hour early just in case this shit went bananas, but if this shit were a fruit, it would be a mundane fruit. Like a gay accountant.

The people who are here are pretty evenly split between angular nerds and fat girls, so I just won that bet I had with myself.

    Whee.

  28. Ok, never mind. This shit is bananas.

  31. Man.. I wish the extended interview from last night's Daily wouldn't buffer every half minute.

  32. I am sad that I missed rifftrax live. But I stayed home to study.

Turns out that this was mostly unnecessary on my part and all of the things I stayed home to study were not on comps.

So, comps over. I think I passed each section and may have "high passed" two sections.

Also, Bombay Sapphire was on sale at the liquor store. So double win.
