    Archie's not.. exactly... conservative... I get what you're saying, but.. check out the various Archie lines from the 60s and 70's..

    or even the new revival of Life with Archie as a bizarre multi-universal comic dressed up as a teen mag.

    This is the same comic book that crossed over with the Punisher at his 80's heyday.
