Landlady wrote down the wrong apartment number so I had the gas / power turned on at apartment #2 (what my lease says) rather than apartment #1 (where I live). So I'm in the hotel waiting for the power / gas to be turned on.
Something to hate. Cokie Roberts on Obama visiting Hawaii: "... does not make any sense whatsoever. I know his grandmother lives in Hawaii and I know Hawaii is a state, but it has the look of him going off to some sort of foreign, exotic place. He should be in Myrtle Beach, and, you know, if he's going to take a vacation at this time. "
I was driving to Paris last night, and listening to Cake in the car when I noticed that when the vocals in Cake turn to the side of actual singing they sound similar to Xander's vocals in Once More With Feeling. And so, for the rest of the car ride, and probably, for the rest of my life when I listen to Cake I am going to imagine Xander vocalizing, Giles playing lead guitar with Willow on bass, and Spike drumming...
