I am at work. I forgot how boring it was here even when I had things to do.
It's cold outside. Hoth cold. I had to start my car when, according to the voice in the television, it feels as if it is -19.
I've found that anything below 5 is needless specification. If it is less than 5 degrees don't tell me how cold it is just tell me that it is "Hoth Cold". For all practical purposes -19 and 5 mean the same fucking thing: You're going to freeze your fucking balls off.
All negative whatever tells me is how quickly my balls will freeze. And I'm ok remaining in the dark, so to speak, on that one.
A customer just called asking about Snow Rakes and then went into a rant about how he doesn't want anyone to take his guns away. Apparently he will not let anyone break into his house and steal his guns.
I assume snow rakes plays into that scenario somehow. Perhaps he shall rake the snow from his roof and so leave it with a coat of glare ice to stop any roof-based gun-stealing attempts.
He also stated that there are probably more murders in his town than in our whole state. The customer is from, wait for it, Connecticut.
Apparently Connecticut has roving bands of street thugs bent on stealing guns via roof-based assaults.
This is the sort of shit one does not hear about in Graduate School. Sigh.
I don't want to spoil Omega Doom for anyone, but if you've ever wished Sergio Leone had made Fistful of Dollars after watching The Terminator AND Yojimbo, then this is definitely the movie you need to watch. Especially if you wish the movie was a boring, poorly constructed, contradictory piece of shit.
