The track list for the new album seems to be missing sausely jack the conspet alble about jack the ripper. I had heard that they had been playing it on there reasent tour.
The more I learn about comics the less I like them. And, really, I think that applies to all fictional realms, ever. If we talk about Lockjaw doing X that creates a noun of Lockjaw and we assume this noun capable of verbing.
But there is no noun of Lockjaw. Lockjaw is neither a person, place, or thing. Lockjaw is a fictional concept. So to talk of it doing something, verbing, posits onto the fictional character some sort of volition. And I do not think that Lockjaw has, in any sense, volition insofar as Lockjaw only exists in an author telling a story which utilizes a character.
Campus switched e-mail servers which means that I have to fix everyone's Eudora or Thunderbirdfoxfirewhatthefuckevergoddamnifuckinghatehowmozillanames things. Given the option between PoP or IMAP I think I prefer IMAP insofar as it works better.
Actually, though, IMAP sort of negates the need for an e-mail client insofar as IMAP simply mirrors the server. So when accessing gmail through IMAP one is simply viewing the online mail client through foxbirdthunderfire, which makes me wonder why the fuck they need the client in the first place.
PoP at least makes sense insofar as it downloads the messages and so replaces the online clinet. But PoP tends to not work sometimes.
Also, the whole fucking world is against me today.
Yeah. I can understand wanting to use PoP to save e-mail on one's own machine. But the problem is that, given how PoP works, if a person had 5 computers they could only, using PoP, download the e-mail to one of those computers.
At least that is how things seem to be working at the moment and I've found no workaround for it.
I like it at work when people come in and completely ignore me, marching straight back to talk with John, Neil, or Kevin, and then whoever they went to talk to sends them back out front for me to deal with -- "You really need to talk to Caleb about that..."
I want to rant about something but I cannot think about anything to rant about which is not far too personal or far too silly.
