    Also, you may be confusing "subtle joke" with "subtle racism".

    Which, again, is not subtle once a sign is involved.

    You really can't evaluate racism until the final result.. If this is just set up to the punchline, then..

    Though it turns out the chef sees no problem and has been fighting for the authorization to do this for quite some time.
