STATEMENT REGARDING KEITH OLBERMANN - SUNDAY, NOV. 7
From Phil Griffin, President of MSNBC:
After several days of deliberation and discussion, I have determined that suspending Keith through and including Monday night's program is an appropriate punishment for his violation of our policy. We look forward to having him back on the air Tuesday night.
Me thinks the whole suspension was to boost ratings.
ReplyDelete"appropriate punishment for his violation of our policy"
ReplyDeleteIf it is a real policy, it has punishments spelled out.
seems more like behind the scenes power struggles/stunt to highlight outdated rules issues to me.
ReplyDeleteEspecially with the immediate turn around over the weeekend.
Though, honestly... I'm still half-waiting to hear more on how this shakes out in the end.
