i cannot say enough about how this episode completely destroys.
Community so deftly realism and fantasy. The episode opens with a voiceover/montage but then drops the characters into the study room.
D&D is game of imagination and you can see the characters imagining the world as they play the game. When the fantasy does creep in (there is a hard push in on Chevy Chase sitting on a thron made of paper boxes) it is just enough.
And then there is Anne (the Day Planner) and Abed.

We have talked about how Community is one the best TV shows ever.
We talk about how perfect "Beginner Pottery" and "Modern Warfare" are.
but fuck me sideways, Advanced Dungeons and Dragons may be the best episode of television ever produced.
I really need to start watching this show.
It's fantastic.

it's absurdly awesome. At the least of episodes.
Last night? Was not the least in any way.
And, Gods, I love Chevy's evil scenery chewing moments.
"Now"
Also, reading Annie's lips.
This episode needs to win every award, ever.
Except for an Humanitus.
Because that award is retarded.
And queer.
"Community so deftly realism and fantasy."
WTB verb
I really like when they describe themselves walking.
And Abed confirmed that they did walk.
"I walk with them."
the walking hand gestures right before Fat Neil's whisper make that scene.
This guys is an asshole.
Its funny that his name is McLean...
... man, I'd been able to avoid Times Union letters for a year..
Thanks for kicking me back off the wagon, Mikey.
What ever happened to Josta?
This is why we don't read letters to the editor.
.. Because it reminds of guarana laced fruit punch?
