Life is Absurd

And that's pretty much it.

It's knowing Canon in D but being unable to actualize Canon in D in the world. Canon in D is there in the knowing. But when one attempts to play it, to actualize it in the world outside of the binding’s of one’s own self, the resulting mess is a jumble of incoherence and inability.

Yet things such as Canon in D only truly exist in the playing. So what is left is the struggle to accept that Canon in D will never be actualized. Yes, one knows Canon in D…but it will only ever exist in isolation, forever contained within the solitary being of the self.

And, by the way, "Canon in D" in this little writing is "love". In case you haven't all picked up on this being a manifestation of my being heartbroken.

i remember it well the first time that i saw
your head around the door 'cause mine stopped working
i remember it well there was wet in your hair
you were stood in the stair and time stopped moving

i want you here tonight i want you here
'cause i can't believe what i found
i want you here tonight want you here
nothing is taking me down

i remember it well taxied out of a storm
to watch you perform and my ships were sailing
i remember it well i was stood in your line
and your mouth your mouth your mouth your mind
i want you here tonight i want you here
'cause i can't believe what i found
i want you here tonight want you
cause nothing is taking me down
accept you my love..

come all ye lost
dive into moss
i hope that my sanity covers the cost
to remove the stain of my love
paper machine
come all ye reborn
blow off my horn
i'm driving real hard
this is love this is porn
god would forgive me
but i.. i whip myself scorn scorn
i wanna hear what you have to say about me
hear if you're gonna live without me
hear what you want
i remember december
and i wanna hear what you have to say about me
hear if you're gonna live without me
i wanna hear what you want
what the hell do you want?

What degree of relevance would you assign to these lyrics?

It doesn't sound like something I'd say.

Well, it looks like five thousand miles broke the camel's back
But it's not as though i had a plan to win you back
Because i don't know what i want
But at least i know that much
Now I'm afraid love came right up
And it slapped me in the face, but i did not know

'Cause love is different than you'd think
It's never in a song or on a TV screen
And love is harder than a word
Said at the right time and everything's alright
Love is different than you think

So I won't expect a postcard from Trafalgar Square
But I'd be lying if i said I didn't care
Because you can't just turn it off
And put a blindfold on your heart
But i'm off to a good start
A continent away, but i do not know

But maybe you're the dream i'm waking from
'Cause I see you everywhere I go
Darlin' you are such a mystery to me, you know

That, on the other hand...
