How do you define life? This is artificial intelligence. It is an enormously difficult task to create an artifice that can recognize dangers within it's environment and react to them. Tracking its current location and attempting to make it to another goal location is on a whole different world of difficult, given the infinite number of variables involved.

This is a starting point to creating artificial life forms.
