you look like a 19th century villian

Caleb said...

Man, he didn't even wax his mustache that day.

Mike Lewis said...

Ros has looked like the villian from Silent Movies since we were in middle school.

that being said, no one believes that hanover college students had to fight off river pirates.

_J_ said...

I think he looks like a poor man's V.

_J_ said...

See?

We need to start a RUN DMC Cover Band: Mosey DMC.

I think it would be terrific.

Caleb, you libeolous son of a bitch,
I totally waxed my points up.

Frankly? Now I'm thinking this might just be the event that sets me to selling Hanover out to a new reign of Raft Brigands. Clearly, I'm not appreciated by my own people.

Caleb said...

Aw. Did I forget to mention that your vest really brings out the evil glint in your steely eyes?

It was just like Swiss Family Robinson.

_J_ said...

I didn't understand Swiss Family Robinson. To me it seemed like (Lord of the Flies + Stupid) / Pirates.

And Fritz was a fucking asshole.

I think Roscoe needs to construct a raft, find a strong nigger, and sail down the Ohio periodically yelling “They’re after us, Jim, now lay into that pole!”

We can stand on the shore discussing the degree to which he needs a bigger boat.

Then we can all go for waffles.

mmm...waffles...

_J_ said...

Oh yeah. I tried talking to my grandparents about Obama.

They made it quite clear that they ain't votin' for no nigger.

_J_ said...

Right now the only state on fivethirtyeight.com which is white is...Indiana.

Mike Lewis said...

Mike Huckabee as the new leader of the GOP. From Daily Kos

Mike Lewis said...

Early Voting in indiana is saved. Indiana Supreme Court has declined rule on the GOP's attempt to shut down early voting in Lake County Indiana

Did we ever reach a consensus on what the H. in Jesus H. Christ stands for?

_J_ said...

Nope.

And I really like it when I write something I like:

The problem with anarchism and the views articulated by Goldman and de Cleyre is that, to state it simply, one cannot dismantle social norms and maintain society; society exists in the maintaining of these norms. This is the crux of the problem: The discrepancy between philosophical ideal and practical necessity. If our desire is to maintain the human species then social norms are necessary. As of 5:04 Greenwhich Mean Time on October 27, 2008 the population of Earth is 6,732,821,639 human beings. “A new social order based on liberty unrestricted by man-made law” will not sustain the lives of 6,732,821,639 human beings. Unfettered liberty for 6,732,821,639 human beings would not create a utopian ideal but rather would result in a hilarious, self-destructive, clusterfuck. And I use the term “clusterfuck” because it is the only term appropriate for describing what would occur if 6,732,821,639 human beings were released from man-made law and left to their own unfettered, natural inclinations.

Me Too. I wish that were not in the [chat] so I could send a link to everyone I know.

our congressman, Mark Souder, is a red faced little shithead. He is among the most evil little fucks in the congress. This year Mark Montagano may have a chance to beat Souder. resently he was added the the DCCC's red to blue list. it is a group of people running for congress that have a chance to flip districts.

help the guy out in the last 7 days.

Unknown said...

I wish I could help him out the way that matters most, but unfortunately, I am officially a member of the 5th district, and we have our own nutjob right here.

Unknown said...

Let me try that again:

Right here

Cultural Hegemony can suck my cock.

Whenever someone says "common sense" in a philosophy class we punch them; we punch them hard. And then we continue to punch them until they die.

It doesn't matter if they regret their statement or attempt to articulate a position to the contrary. They said "common sense". So we have to kill them.

Lest their disease spread and infect other lesser minds.

_J_ said...

Also after class one of the girls asked me if she could have a copy of my paper. She apparently has had difficulty structuring things and thought my paper an excellent example of how to structure things.

Which is interesting, because I have something else that's great for "structuring", if you know what I mean.

Her fundamental flaw, unfortunately, was that she thought my use of the term "clusterfuck" was a Dane Cook reference.

So I can't talk to her. Because, you know, dane cook.

Unknown said...

Since when is using the term clusterfuck a Dane Cook reference? I've been using clusterfuck since middle/high school. Long before Dane Cook was even a douche bag.

_J_ said...

Apparently Dane Cook said it once. So now it's a Dane Cook reference.

I've been trying to explain to my mom that if Obama wins we won't all die. She's pretty convinced that he hates America and he only wants to be president so that...he can hate america...or something.

It's pretty discouraging.

_J_ said...

Also, she keeps saying that she's not as smart as me but she has common sense.

And I'm really trying to figure out what she thinks the difference is. Because it seems to be the case that she thinks common sense is relegated to the realm of everything and intelligence is...I'm not sure what.

I have intelligence and common sense. She has common sense. And she thinks obama hates america and will let everyone die.

While at the same time hating him for wanting to help the poor...so that they don't die...

Andrew said...

maybe your mom hates the poor.
Maybe she thinks to let the poor suffer is to love america. To let my mother die from cancer because she can't afford the treatment is to love america. Ask your mother if she wants my mother to die, and how that relates to loving america.

Wal-Mart had Guitar Hero: World Tour.

Guitar Hero: World Tour has Crazy Train.

Crazy Train is the song every Guitar Hero needed.

I'm this close to buying World Tour.
