Global Warming, government report

What do you guys think of this? I haven't read it all...

i would like to point out that this is a report issued not by the whole committee, but by "the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee’s office of the GOP Ranking Member," James Inhofe.

1) Inhofe has been in bed with the oil/coal industry for years. He has a major stake in keeping de-legitimizing climate change regulation
2) much of this seems to be a repeat of reports he has put out in the past. The 'science' contained in the report has not been peer reviewed

so - some links

ClimateProgress.org went through this report and fact checked the 400 "scientists." Some of whom work for Exxon Moble, others are whethermen or have no background in climate scienes

Energy Smart Facts checks the "peer review" going on in this study.

Finally, and this is the best part, much of the real science contained in this report does not way the greenhouse gases are not responsible for global warming; just that there are a range of phenomena which are causing global warning.

I deleted my comments because Mikey's were incalculably better.

That being said I still maintain that if one reads through the quotes provided in the list it is entirely obvious that they are using rhetoric rather than anything else.

Very interesting stuff... thanks Mikey, I shall have to read through those links and whatnot when I'm not running off to a meeting sometime (like I am now).

thanks - i had seen this a few days a good and did a little be of fact checking.
