i am all for updating and streamlining the game - its 12 years old - and things have been added in an ad hoc sort of way every 4 months for those 12 years
but they need to make up there fucking mind with this creature type thing. it is getting ridiculous
With the Star Wars Pocketmodel TCG WizKids announced that they would not errata cards because that would require that players get online to check errata.
Wizards just gave errata to 1197 creature cards.
I think WizKids needs to stop being idiots.
I still hate errata as a concept. But in practice? It's damn necessary.
yeah - that works for wizkids till it doesnt.
but there games, to this point have been mostly a flash in the pan - they produce them for a short time, than do something else.
after 12 years and - fuck - who knows how many differant magic cards
they were more or less solid on how creature types worked till about 4 years ago than ever year they have changed it.
that is ridiculous and needlessly complex.
