bob schieffer: Best Moderator. Possibly, "ever".

When I watched the debate I thought this was a return to 2000 McCain. From what the polls say, though, it seems to be the case that McCain was simply viewed as irritable and pissed off.

I enjoyed the questions. I thought it was a terrific...not "debate", but a definite improvement over the other two.

Incorrect as well.

Abortion? Education? Vice Presidents? Ayers? I really did not expect these to come up.

It was a delight to watch.
