Ryan Reynolds: Deadpool AND The Green Lantern

Ryan Reynolds has landed the coveted role of “Green Lantern,” getting the starring role in Warner Bros.' live-action film based on the DC Comics hero.

Ryan Reynolds: Deadpool AND The Green Lantern.

You figure it out. I'm done caring about superhero movies.

I'm cool with that because Deadpool and Green Lantern exist in different realities, one being the DC Universe, another being the Marvel Universe.

depends on the lantern he plays..

he'd be an okay Kyle Rayner influenced Lantern..

or Possibly, with the right script, a Guy Gardener style Lantern.

I don't see him as Jordan or Stewart, obviously...

now. if it was animated? Dude could rock the voice for just about any lantern. Kilowog, C'hp, G'nort, Mogo.. well...

not Mogo..

Mogo don't socialize.

So we can allow one person to play two super heroes if the super heroes played exist in different realities?

It's like how Bo Jackson could play baseball AND football.

Yeah I'm totally cool with that. The issue that you should really worry about is the character Ryan Reynolds played in Blade III. That fucks the Marvel continuity all up.

Because if there is on integral part to the Marvel universe it's Blade.

Everyone knows that the Snipes Blade movies are really the Hollywood equivalent of the Fantastic Four comics of the Marvel Universe.

So, really, Ryan Reynolds in Blade Trinity? Isn't playing Hannibal King.. he's playing Ryan Reynolds.. playing Hannibal King.
