Except it's Protestants and Catholics fighting. The Catholics have a commander in chief in charge of their armed forces. Individual groups of protestants are led by any yahoo with a dime story copy of the Bible.
There's no way the roaming bands of protestants can take on the organizational structure of Catholicism.
