The terrific part about mobile themes is that they end up being more intuitive and efficient than the non-mobile theme. So I use the mobile versions rather than the regular.

Unknown said...: Yeah the efficiency gains are tremendous for the phone, which still suffers from limited bandwidth and more importantly limited memory for page rendering. The videos and images on the home page kick my poor phone's ass.
The topic oriented home page is exceptionally helpful.

We don't suffer the same pain on a full featured desktop or laptop though because they have the resources to handle the extra bandwidth and memory requirements without blinking an eye. So I do agree to a point that the mobile sites are more efficient and would like to see similar behavior in the non mobile world. However, I don't mind pulling down entire blog posts on entry to the site as long as it doesn't slow my consumption.; June 16, 2011 at 5:41 PM
