In the sense that I am aware of it. If you read the discussion page of the wiki you can see references to the debate and a discussion of whether or not the debate ought to be included in the main article for the game. If you read Gerstmann's wiki page you will see that, "However, contrary to widespread and unproven reports, his exit was not a result of pressure from an advertiser".

Wiki has spoken. So shall it be.
