Pledged Delegates not Pledged

Source

"And also remember that pledged delegates in most states are not pledged. You know, there is no requirement that anybody vote for anybody. They're just like superdelegates." - Hillary Clinton

Pledged Delegates are not pledged?

Senator Hillary Clinton, everybody! Remember to tip your waiters and try the veal.

this rhetoric has been flooting around since super tuesday.

the clinton's have been courting deligagtes from earily states (like iowa) in case things come down to a 2nd vote at the convention.

At the same time, it seems they are trying to undermine the party rules (think michigan and florida). Get enough deligates on the floor confused about the rules, or angry that they are forced to vote for obama - and they may be able to undermine the system.

despite time call for lieing and cheating.

I just like that she said, "And also remember that pledged delegates in most states are not pledged".

She didn't say that pledged delegates were not obligated or forced or restricted.

She said pledged delegates are not pledged.
