· 3's and 7's (by Queens of the Stone Age)
· Suck My Kiss (by Red Hot Chili Peppers)

· La Grange (as made famous by ZZ Top)
of these, the only one i care about is Paranoid, and its not a master track....lame
Ah, I appreciate your thoughtfulness.
Don't worry about Guitar Hero spoilers any more, though. It's cool. Also, I predict that Dragonforce's song will be impossible and people on the internet will claim that it's because it's brilliant, but it will actually be because it is not.
Paranoid and Cities On Flame totally rock. The rest of the track list, with the exception of Number of the Beast and La Grange being good filler songs, is trash in my opinion.
There is no excuse for the Strokes to ever appear on a GH game, and i really don't care about the other bands.
P.S. the opening licks to cities on flame, alone, could likely be the saving grace for this game.
Mississipi Queen, Paranoid, and Cities on Flame will be fun..
La Grange could be good.. I don't know it off hand..
and.. were there not more tracks revealed earlier.. this seems.. lacking in things I knew about.
or.. thought I knew about.
There are more songs. Mikey only listed the new ones.
I don't know any of these songs. I assume that I have heard Paranoid before, but I don't remember it.
I agree that the internet likes Dragonforce far too much for its own good.
Landrew (a shithead I used to live with) once wrote a piano piece that had a lot of notes to be played on the left hand, and he talked about how awesome it was because someone would have to be really good to be able to play all of those notes. I and some others replied that "having many notes" does not necessarily make something "good".
I think Dragonforce suffers the delusion Landrew had, and the internet continually fails to realize what I and others already know.
+1 to J's comment
PS Dragonforce sucks.
J you have to know cities on flame. If you don't I recommend you find a sound clip of it somewhere, it is a freaking sweet song.
I have probably heard it, but don't know it by name.
Teh youtube has all of these things, and they shall be listened to, except for the damned Chili Peppers who can go fornicate with one another using their socked penises for all I care.
LaGrange is the song that is basically the riff from Tush, but played in the reverse order with a different beat.
It's a cool song, but the rhythm guitar is doing pretty much one thing for five minutes while the lead goes off and does his thing in the huge breaks or bridges, kind of like in Sharp Dressed Man.
Actually, that's 99% of ZZ Top songs, bless them.
Kinda why I said La Grange would probably be decent...
They're the southern rock version of AC/DC.
J have a problem with the Peppers?
"J have a problem with the Peppers?"
I really do.
What's wrong with a little triplet between friends?
For Kyle, Master track of "One".
That alone will sell the game.
Two things:
1) Master tracks really don't mean shit to me. It's not like there is a high school band recording these for the game. The quality of song produced by the devs superb imo
2) J is right about RHCP. They have one song worth noting, everything else they have done has been terrible. They are still surviving off of the hype from Blood Sugar Sex Magik, and they haven't produced anything worth noting since.
There was that song where they said "Californication" a lot. They combined two words (one naughty, one not) to make one naughty word.
I just think they aren't very good. But I'm put off by that whole "acting like an asshole on stage" thing. Also I don't like shit.
Or Flea.
Man.. I beg to differ on the Peppers. They fill a niche that NEEDS to be filled. They've gone a bit more Adult Rock/Pop in recent years.. and I kinda have to approve of that as well.. they're the art-funk Cali version of REM's Georgia Alt-College rock.
there is no such thing as a nich that needs to be filled. that is more of the top 10 most retarted things I've ever heard you say.
The one reason master tracks are important, at least for me, is the vocals. bad vocals can make an otherwise good song suck.
While it is a true a niche doesn't technically need filled, the natural progression of things is to fill a newly formed niche, because it is easier than competing for niches that already exist.
Why the FUCK wasn't Final Countdown on 80s edition?
