For some reason I don't like that they use Iron Man in the Iron Man movie. I feel like the song is too obvious, so they ought not to have used it.

Besides, now we'll get to overhear conversations about how that song was written especially for the movie.

The biggest problem is that the premise of the song relates to the comic/movie in only one way, and that is the name.

We don't know for sure that Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark did not, with the future of mankind in the balance, traverse the great magnetic fields while time traveling, and by doing so find himself turned to steel.

Although why Iron Man is made of steel is beyond me. I guess saying I am Contains Carbon and Iron Man didn't sound as good.

With a name like that he probably would have forgone any subsequent saving us and skipped right ahead to the killing.

Robert Downey Jr. did. The only cure for his condition? Alcamohol.

Iron Man's one weakness? Injun Firewater.

See... Robert Downey Jr. MUST play this role, TO SAVE HUMANITY FROM HIMSELF!
